The first quarter of 2012 has kept our R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out to Community Kids) program very busy with educational activities and presentations to 328 kids, ages 3-12 and almost 40 adults.   The following schools participated in R.O.C.K. from February 1st to March 30th.

Lincoln Ave. Head Start (CAPE), Evansville, IN

Caldwell Head Start (CAPE), Evansville, IN

The Garden School, Evansville, IN

Cynthia Heights Elementary School, Evansville, IN

St. Vincent’s Head Start (CAPE), Evansville, IN

Hebron Elementary School, Evansville, IN

Stockwell Elementary School, Evansville, IN

The R.O.C.K. program has continued to be well received in every corner of our operating area and we look forward to teaching our area youth about the importance of rocks and minerals in our everyday lives, as well as Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc.’s mission to educate them on the mining industry and have a little fun in the process!
